I'm here to help you through all of that! I truly believe that now is always the right time for family photographs. Things change so quickly for young families - the tiny nails on newborn hands wrapped around your finger; the way your toddler snuggles with you; squishy hugs from sibling best friends.

I've photographed hundreds of families and have tons of tricks to help make photography sessions together easy and enjoyable. I know! Actually fun! I've been called a toddler whisperer, have a totally calm energy for sweet newborns and can even get the elusive genuine smile from dad.

Have you ever thought of a memory and realized how long ago it was?

Some of my favorite places so far include Ireland, the Maldives, New Zealand, Italy and Canada… really, anywhere with sheep and cows.

There’s no such thing as too much time on the water - so calming and beautiful. But nothing beat seeing our scared rescue pup bounding over a wave and happily swimming in the Atlantic for the first time.

Every spring I plant a cutting garden, and from June through October carry in bundles of flowers every morning. One of my favorites is the delicate Cosmos.

Give me a posh accent, fields of sheep and spring weather all year round and I'm happy. I love visiting both England and Ireland (as well as keeping up with the royals!).

Our rescue pup, Hudson, has the sweetest soul, cutest whiskers and is my best bud. He makes me laugh every day with his goofy antics. And yes, I may have thousands of pictures of him on my phone!

Yes, I have had a camera in my hand since before digital ones existed (#amiold). But before that, I was documenting my family and friends in other ways - drawings, write-your-own-story books, figuring out my full family tree... Photography is another way to remember and add to a family's legacy. It's a gift to give to yourself and the future. I'm not saying this is a formal portrait session where people grumpily look at the camera and we wonder 100 years later what our great-great-grandma was like. It's showing through images who you are - in the day-to-day quiet and heartfelt moments that shape your family into what it is. So to me, this isn't a yearly check off the to-do list - I treat it as so much more than that, and I hope you do, too.

My style is gentle, full of warmth and timeless. I believe in documenting your genuine family connection. To preserve your memory of your family and children as they are now, even small, fleeting moments. I want you to authentically spend time with your family, while making an effort to be extra close. Focus on them and not my camera. Hold hands, kiss foreheads, nuzzle together, and wrap your arms around each other. My favorite photographs are where you look and feel like the best version of yourselves - nothing too posed or forced - the way your children view you. An added bonus? I have been called a toddler whisperer by many families, and always make it fun for your kids.

When you're ready to book, I'll send along your quote and e-contract - and then mail a welcome guide with loads of suggestions on how to best prepare for our session together (including clothing recs!).

Newborn and Family Sessions are scheduled a bit differently, since we don't always know when baby will arrive! I will have your due date in my calendar and once you're feeling comfortable to email me the good news, we work together to find a perfect day.

The big day is here! I always spend time at the beginning with your little ones to get to know them on their level, and I'm extremely patient with whatever anyone needs during our session (snack break? diaper change? all good!).

You'll receive an online gallery of your images a couple of weeks after our session. I hope you bring these cherished images off your hard drive, and into your home - in whatever way makes sense for your family.
